Navigating the Digital Dragon: China’s Approach to Artificial Intelligence

How does China handle AI? This thesis was written in the seminar „Politics of AI“ under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Sahana Udupa in the SoSe24. Within the framework of the topic „AI & Politics,“ this paper examines the integration of artificial intelligence into the socialist system of the Communist Party of China (CCP) in light of international ideological differences in the AI arms race between China and the USA.

Innerhalb des Themas Kreativität und aufgrund dessen Mystifizierung ermittelt diese Bachelorarbeit, wie KI-Texte kreativ werden, am Beispiel von „Harry Potter and the Portrait of what looked like a large Pile of Ash”. Diese Arbeit betrachtet Kreativität als einen Prozess und fragt, wie sie entsteht.
